Privacy policy

This policy explains which personal data pablopalma.co (“we”) collects, why we use it, who we share it with and how you can exercise your rights. It applies to this website, our WhatsApp conversations and our quote and contact forms.

2. What we collect

  • Data you give us when you write on WhatsApp, fill in the quote form or the contact popup: name, WhatsApp number, email, company or business, city, service of interest, approximate budget and your message.
  • Context of that request: the page you wrote from, language, date and time.
  • Browsing data, only if you accept measurement cookies: pages viewed, device, browser, traffic source and aggregated interactions (see the cookies section).

We do not request or process health, origin, religious belief or biometric data, or data from minors.

Political campaigns. If you contact us about our service for political campaigns, your interest may reveal your political affiliation or opinion, which Colombian law treats as sensitive data. We process it only with your prior, explicit consent, which you are not obliged to give; we use it solely to reply and manage the relationship with the campaign, and delete it when the campaign closes unless you ask to keep receiving information.

3. Why we use it

  • To answer your request, prepare and send a commercial proposal and follow up on WhatsApp or email.
  • To manage the business relationship if you hire a service: communications, invoicing and support.
  • To send you, with your permission, information about our services. You can ask us to stop at any time.
  • To measure site usage and advertising effectiveness, in aggregate, to improve the site and our campaigns.
  • To meet legal, accounting and security obligations.

The legal basis is your consent, given when you send a form or write to us, and the performance of the service once you are a client (Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013). Under Law 2300 of 2023 we only contact you for commercial purposes Monday to Friday between 7:00 and 19:00 and Saturdays between 8:00 and 15:00, and we honour any request not to be contacted.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. These providers process it on our behalf, under contract and only for the purposes above:

  • Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business API, Instagram and Facebook): to talk with you and, if you accept measurement cookies, to measure our ads.
  • Superchat (multichannel inbox): where WhatsApp and Instagram conversations are logged and organised.
  • Google (Analytics and Business Profile): site measurement, if you accept measurement cookies.
  • Our website hosting and email providers.

Some of these providers process data outside Colombia (United States and the European Union) with safeguards equivalent to those required by Colombian law.

5. How long we keep it

Data from a request that does not lead to a contract is kept for up to 24 months from the last contact, unless you ask us to delete it earlier. Client data is kept for the duration of the relationship and afterwards for as long as accounting and legal obligations require.

6. Your rights

At any time and free of charge you may: access, update and correct your data; request proof of consent; know how we have used it; withdraw consent and request deletion where no legal or contractual duty to keep it exists; and file complaints with Colombia’s Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC).

To exercise them, email hola@pablopalma.co with the subject “Personal data”. We answer enquiries within ten (10) business days and claims within fifteen (15) business days, as Law 1581 of 2012 requires.

7. Cookies and measurement

The site uses two kinds of cookies and similar technologies:

  • Necessary: those the site needs to work and to remember your preferences (for example, language or that you dismissed a notice). They do not require consent and do not identify you.
  • Measurement and advertising: Google Analytics 4 and the Meta pixel. They only run if you accept them in the cookie notice. They tell us, in aggregate, how the site is used and which ads bring visits; Meta and Google may link that information to your account under their own policies.

You can change your choice at any time from the “Cookies” link in the footer or by clearing your browser cookies. Declining does not affect the site or your ability to contact us.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to data, limits against automated form submissions and backups. No system is infallible; if we detect an incident affecting your data we will notify you and report it to the SIC where required.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will publish the new version on this page with its update date. Material changes will also be communicated through our usual channels.
